Free listings, owned by the businesses in them
Why this exists
Sunrise has hundreds of small businesses that are hard to find unless you already know them. This directory puts them in one place so neighbors, other businesses and the city can find and hire them.
Where the information comes from
Founding listings were researched from information each business already publishes: its website, its public business profiles and its official registrations. We don't publish private contact details or home addresses. Every listing shows the date it was last checked and the sources used.
Listings marked Unclaimed haven't been confirmed by the owner yet. Listings marked Owner verified have been claimed and checked.
How the Best of Sunrise lists are ranked
Every business in a category appears on its Best of list. The order comes from how complete and trustworthy each listing is: whether the owner has verified it, public review ratings where we can confirm them, a working website, a published location or service area, hours, services, a description and time in business.
Nobody can pay to rank higher. Businesses on paid plans appear in a separate, clearly labelled Featured section, and their position in the ranked list is calculated exactly like everyone else's. The fastest way to move up is free: claim your listing and complete it.
Claim, correct or remove a listing
Open your listing and choose Claim this listing. You can update any detail or ask us to remove the listing entirely. We confirm you represent the business, usually by emailing an address on your website or calling your public number, and then apply the change.
What it costs
Nothing. Listings are free and stay free. No business pays to appear, and no business can pay to change where it appears.
